We got picked for something new (and we’re pretty excited about it)!

Silk & Shadows was selected to beta test the Peace of Mind program on The Knot, and honestly, it’s a really interesting idea.

The whole point of the program is exactly what it sounds like. It’s designed to give couples a little extra reassurance when booking vendors. If something unexpected happens with a vendor, the program helps step in with support, like finding a replacement or helping cover certain costs depending on the situation.

Basically, it’s there so couples feel less stressed when making big decisions.

From our side, it means we’re part of a smaller group of wedding planners in Portland, Oregon testing how this works in real life, giving feedback, and helping shape what this program might become.

And on our end, wee love anything that makes the wedding planning process feel safer and more supported for couples, so we’re excited to be part of it.
