In the weeks leading up to your wedding, we step in to review your plans, confirm details with vendors, and finalize the flow of events. On the wedding day itself, Silk & Shadows takes full control of logistics, timing, and coordination, allowing you, your partner, and your loved ones to relax knowing every detail is being handled with care.
Day-Of Coordination Service
You have already done the planning. Your wedding day should be about presence, joy, and celebration, not managing timelines or answering vendor questions. Our Day-of Coordination service ensures everything you have thoughtfully planned comes together seamlessly, so you can fully enjoy the day.
THIS SERVICE INCLUDES
Pre-event consultation (4–6 weeks before the wedding)
We meet to review your plans, vendor contracts, timelines, and priorities so we can fully understand your vision and how the day is intended to flow.
Vendor review and confirmations
We review your vendor details and confirm arrival times, responsibilities, and final logistics with each vendor in the week leading up to the wedding.
Wedding-day timeline creation or refinement
We create or fine-tune a detailed timeline that outlines the flow of the day, including setup, ceremony cues, reception moments, and teardown timing.
Rehearsal coordination (if requested)
We lead the ceremony rehearsal, guiding the wedding party, officiant, and key participants through timing, cues, and positioning.
Two coordinators on site
Two Silk & Shadows coordinators are present on the wedding day to manage logistics, support guests and vendors, and ensure no detail is missed.
Oversight of setup and décor placement
We install and style small décor elements such as centerpieces, candles, signage, and table details. For larger installations such as arches, draping, or rental structures, we coordinate setup with your rental company or florist to ensure proper placement and timing.
Vendor arrival and service coordination
We manage vendor check-ins, direct setup locations, and ensure all services begin on schedule according to the timeline.
Timeline management and cueing
We actively manage the timeline throughout the day, cueing the ceremony processional, speeches, special moments, and transitions to keep everything running smoothly.
Wedding party and guest assistance
We assist the wedding party, immediate family, and guests with questions, directions, timing, and any needs that arise during the event.
On-site problem solving and troubleshooting
We handle last-minute changes, unexpected issues, and behind-the-scenes challenges discreetly and efficiently.
Supervision of teardown and vendor load-out
We oversee the breakdown of décor and coordinate vendor pickups to ensure everything concludes smoothly and according to venue requirements.
