Silk & Shadows is officially a preferred planning and coordination team for Pelican Brewing Company and we are genuinely so thrilled!

If you know Pelican, you probably already know why people love it so much. Amazing food, beautiful coastal views, relaxed atmosphere, and some of the warmest staff we’ve worked with. Their team truly cares about weddings and events, and it shows in the way they treat couples throughout the process.

One thing we especially love is that they have multiple locations along the Oregon coast, with four of them being absolutely perfect for beach weddings and coastal celebrations. Whether you want something casual and fun, romantic and intimate, or a full weekend on the shore with your favorite people, there are so many possibilities there.

And the food deserves its own paragraph!
Good food changes the energy of a wedding so much, and Pelican absolutely delivers. Great drinks, great menu, happy guests. Hard to go wrong.

For us as a Portland wedding planner team, it’s also just genuinely fun to work there. Coastal weddings have a completely different feeling from city weddings. A little slower, a little more relaxed, a little windier in the best possible way.

Yes, it is a bit of a drive from the Portland metro area, so travel fees will usually apply for coordination and planning services there. But we enjoy going to the coast and would absolutely love to become part of your Oregon beach wedding planning process.
